Lamba

Eysturoy

Lamba is a small village in the bottom of the inlet of Lambavík on the east coast of Eysturoy. The village houses lie scattered along the road that leads through a narrow valley and ends at a small harbour. There is a huge rock in the harbour which nobody dares to remove because it is said to be inhabited by ‘huldufólk’, in English ‘Hidden people’, which are supernatural beings from Faroese Folklore.
